Supplies Needed:
2 tubes of choice. I am using the awesome art of Keith Garvey, you can purchase a license to use his art HERE at MPT. Scrap Kit Stardust And Sprinkles by Christon HERE. Thank you Christon!! My supplies HERE. If any are your's please let me know so I can take them down or give you proper credit.
Alrighty then let's go for it!
Open a new image 650 x 650 pixels and floodfill white. copy and paste a frame from Christons kit. Using your Selection Tool set on rectangle, draw a selection around the edge of your frame like I did below.
Copy and paste a paper, resize 50%. Selections > Invert and delete on your paper layer. Do NOT de-select yet! Copy and paste one of your tubes, position inside the frame and delete. Selections > Select none. Drop shadow your tube and change it to black and white going to Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colorize and changing the H&S both to 0. Drop the opacity of this tube down to 65 or your choice and change the blend mode to luminance legacy.
Copy and paste one of the Tassel's from Christon's kit. Resize 80%. Image > Free Rotate and rotate it 32 dgrees left. Duplicate it and image > Mirror. Copy and paste another Tassel, different color, again resize and duplicate. On the duplicate Free Rotate it 90 degrees left. Hide all layers except these 4 tassel layers and merge them visible. Unhide all layers. You should now have tassels that look like this below.
Duplicate this merged layer and Image > Free Rotate it left 20 degrees. Duplicate this rotated layer and Free Rotate it 20 degrees left also. Stay with me, there's a method to my madness lol! You should now have 3 merged tassel layers. Hide all layers and merge these tassel layers visible. Un-hide all layers. Once more, duplicate this merged tassel layer. On the original resize 80%, on the duplicate resize 85%. Now go to Adjust > Blur > Radial Blur with settings below. Do the same blur with the other tassel layer.
Cool huh? Hide all layers again except these 2 blurred layers and merge visible. Un-hide all layers and change the blend mode on this merged blur layer to Multiply.
Copy and paste the doodle, place just above your blurred layer on your layer palette. Resize 80%, position on the bottom left side, duplicate and Image > Mirror > Image Flip. Copy and paste your main tube, position, drop shadow. Add any embellishments from the kit that you like, resize, position and drop shadow. Copy and paste my diamond, duplicate as many as you want and position around the frame, drop shadow them. (see my finished tag for reference) Copy and paste my butterflies, resize, rotate your choice. Copy and paste my wordart. Add your copright, watermark and name. Font I used is Aubrey which I've included in my supplies. Crop and resize all layers to your liking.
Save as a jpg or png and that's it you're done!
